I've tried this type of distro, but honestly, Nemesis finally seems to be the ideal mix.
The distro is lightweight but has everything you need, it's fast, and it has software availability.
It's easy to control, and sure, there are some things I'd like to see refined even further, but we're getting there, and the community is friendly.
I've known about Porteus for many years but never tried it because I was afraid it would be too complicated.
I tried it when I was looking for a distro that could easily run appimages and nix-portables (which I don't currently use anyway).
However, now that I'm using Nemesis, the weak point of the PC is no longer to be found in the software; the only thing left to fix is the hardware
