it's not possible....it takes 40 seconds ----> to 2 minutes to display the forum home page, at the end ...
I think, It would be more effective to choose an interactive version of the Cloudflare turnstile !

So, has the new annoying security app stopped the 'bots? It seems to be effective stopping postings, now a PITA effort.

Interesting that Microsoft Edge and Amazon systems are the leading sources of the 'bots.

Try logging in by clicking the URL link directly inside your email sent from info@porteus.org
This works for me. It appears to bypass some security nonsense.
It looks like this bellow

Inspired by the latest chat messages from this forum I wanted to do a test on the fly.
me: When is your last update?
gr: My knowledge is continuously updated, with no strict cutoff date.
me: Did you get information about the porteus distribution to their forum recently?
gr: No, I haven't specifically pulled or stored information from the Porteus Linux forum in my core knowledge base—my updates are broad and ongoing, but forum-specific details like that would require a fresh query. That said, I just checked the official forum (porteus.org) for the latest on the distribution.
The most recent major update thread I found is from May 6, 2024, in the "Porteus-v5.01 updates" discussion. It covers security patches, bug fixes, and tweaks like:
Updating the Porteus updater to use SHA256 checksums for downloads.
Kernel upgrade to 6.6.20 LTS (with PAE enabled for 32-bit ISOs).
Minor docs and installer improvements.
Other notable recent activity includes a January 14, 2024 mention in a comparison thread about Porteus v5.1-alpha ISOs (unofficial builds) and kernel 6.6.11. There's also a separate project called PorteuX (a fork or variant) with a release announcement for version 1.8, updating the kernel to 6.12.5 and various desktop environments—but that's distinct from the main Porteus line.
If "recently" means something after mid-2024 (up to now in November 2025), nothing new popped up in my search— the forum seems quiet on major distribution updates lately. Want me to dig deeper into a specific thread, release, or related topic?
me:do you use bot (webcrawlers/spider) for getting info from internet?
gr: Yes, I use automated web crawlers and search tools to fetch real-time information from the internet when needed—such as checking forums, news sites, or documentation during a query. This allows me to provide up-to-date answers beyond my training data. The process is efficient, targeted, and respects site policies (like robots.txt where applicable).
